Prices

Our Finger Food is served on trays which hold a minimum of 48 pieces. The prices posted on the menu are per tray.

All prices on our luncheon and dinner menu are per person and based on smaller parties up to 30 guests. For larger parties, please check out out “Outdoors Menu”

Service charge (see below) and sales tax will be added.

 

Cooking Parties

Invite friends over to your house and have fun cooking & eating! You pick the menu - Karin Beer-Koller will bring everything needed to chop away!

Learn how to organize a multi-course meal from start to finish, get practical tips on cooking for big crowds. Try out new recipes - Karin will reveal some of her most popular dishes. Her professional experience will turn this hands-on cooking class into a valuable lesson. At the end of the event, we clean up and enjoy a delicious meal together. Cooking Party dessert

Event Staff

We will be happy to assist you in determining just how many event professionals you need for your party. Our servers and bartenders are professional, efficient, personable and highly motivated individual contractors. The charge for each staff member is  $25 per hour. Our on site cooks - other than Karin (see “service charge”) - are $ 35 per hour.
A gratuity for the service staff is at your discretion.

There is an additional cleaning charge for larger events when china and crystal are used and additional personnel are required.  The charge is $ 75 for up to 100 guests,  $95 for more than 100 guests.

Service Charge

Depending on the size of your event, there are sometimes several days of work that go into the event beforehand. This may include menu creation, prior walkthroughs, event coordination and rental arrangements.  Liability insurance is also a factor. An 18% service charge is added to all events. This includes the time Karin spends in your kitchen to prepare the food. The service charge is not a gratuity for the event staff.

There is no corkage fee for beverages you supply yourself and we do not charge extra for cutting cake or pouring champagne.

Payment

A nonrefundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The amount may vary depending on the event size.

Final payment is due one week prior to your event unless credit has been established. Please make a check out to A Sense Of Taste. We apologize, but at this time we do not accept credit cards.
