Born in Munich, Germany, Karin Beer-Koller graduated from Ludwig-Maximillian University in 1989. She wo rked as a teacher, painted and held work shops until she moved to California in 1995. During her three year stay in the Bay Area, she was a member of the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery. Karin took classes at UC Berkeley .
Today, she lives in Camarillo, Southern California. She is an Artist in Residence at the Studio Channel Islands Art Center . Her work can currently be seen in Oxnard at the Chamber of Commerce and at Herzog Wine Cellars, in Camarillo at the Chamber of Commerce and at Studio Channel Island Art Center.
